The spoon is usually recommended by most wood carvers as your first project as it covers various aspects of wood carving; Creating the silhouette of an item, gouging out the hollow of the spoon. You finish the project creating something not only aesthetically pleasing but functional for everyday use! What to expect: Duration: 3 hrs No need to bring anything! All safety equipment and tools are provided. Learn proper wood carving techniques with a whittling knife and gouge. Give the handle of your spoon a unique shape! Make it truly one of a kind. Finish with engraving your name or design using a pyrography machine. Group size: Class sizes are kept at a maximum of 4 per session to ensure each participant has ample attention during workshops.
