One day, Grandma didn’t wake up – and now Mum can’t stop crying. So Molly becomes a Supergirl again. She cooks, she washes the dishes, she gets Joe ready for school. Supergirl can do everything. Supergirl doesn’t cry. But being Supergirl doesn’t feel much like being a kid anymore.  Now that Mum is finally starting to feel better, maybe things can go back to normal. They can’t turn back time, but they can face their worries together.  How To Be A Kid is an uplifting and accessible story about grief, resilience, and the need for families to communicate about their feelings – and heal together.
