DARE Festival 2026 proudly presents Who Stole My Spotlight?—an original variety theatre experience where live music, comedy, dance, storytelling and spectacular visuals come together in one unforgettable celebration of inclusion. Inspired by playful humour, heart and larger-than-life personalities, Who Stole My Spotlight? transports audiences into TransitWorld—a stylised MRT world where everyday journeys become extraordinary adventures. Everything changes when Mediacorp Artiste, He Ying Ying, dazzles as the enigmatic Mistress Lumiere, a mysterious newcomer who arrives carrying an irresistible force known as Main Character Energy (MCE). Almost overnight, ordinary commuters become unusually visible, influential and convinced they deserve to be centre stage. As oversized personalities collide and the station descends into delightful chaos, one question echoes through TransitWorld... Who Stole The Spotlight? Watching over it all is The Voice, TransitWorld's witty and ever-present PA system, brought to life by Mediacorp Personality, Joakim Gomez, whose announcements guide, narrate and occasionally stir up the madness. As strange events unfold across the station, a colourful cast of commuters, performers and station staff find themselves swept into a mystery filled with comedy, music and unexpected surprises. The production brings together an exceptional cast of celebrated artistes from Singapore and beyond. Representing the heart of DARE Festival's inclusive spirit is Timothy Lee, best known to many audiences as the lovable "Handsome" from KIN. Joining the cast as the festival's international guest artiste is Aliènette Coldfire, a visually impaired singer who rose to international recognition through La France a un Incroyable Talent (France's Got Talent). As the enchanting Miss Stardust, she will captivate audiences with her breathtaking vocals, including a timeless French classic. Comedy favourite Hossan Leong brings his signature wit and theatrical flair, while acclaimed vocalist Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai and performer Trevor Joshua Lee deliver unforgettable musical and theatrical moments throughout the show. The cast also features Mediacorp Personality, Navein Gunasekaran, Mediacorp Personality, Leelian Chua, Shazna Sim, Aqil Fitri, Cheong Cher Hing, Melissa Sidek, Nicholas Ian Voon, Alex Iskandar Misran, Zahier Samad, Zyana Mohd Said, Audacious, Dance Theatre Arts, and an outstanding inclusive ensemble of performers of all abilities. Packed with playful comedy, reimagined live music, breathtaking vocals, energetic dance, immersive and theatrical surprises, Who Stole My Spotlight? is a celebration of talent, inclusion and authentic human connection. Every scene invites audiences to laugh a little louder, sing along, and perhaps recognise a little of themselves in TransitWorld's wonderfully imperfect characters.
