About the Event Artificial Intelligence is everywhere – from our search results all the way to our social media feeds. Think Before You Trust: Outsmarting AI is a 1-hour interactive session specifically designed for primary school students (ages 7-12) that cuts through the hype of using Artificial Intelligence and gets real about how Large Language Models work, where it might go wrong, and the consequences of blind trust. Through interactive activities, demonstrations and real-world examples participants will learn to spot AI hallucinations, understand how structure prompts, avoid depending on AI too much and build habits for verifying AI-generated content. By the end of the session, participants leave not as AI skeptics, but as confident and careful AI users. This programme is suitable for children 7-12 years old. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. [For parent-child programmes] Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
