Dive into the world of comic covers with Singapore-based illustrator, digital artist and comic creator Samarasketch, and discover what makes an iconic cover stand out. Learn how composition, character design and visual storytelling come together to create dynamic artwork that captures the spirit of a story and its heroes. Take a closer look at how comic cover art is created, from developing eye-catching compositions to designing memorable characters. Whether you’re a Marvel fan, comics enthusiast or budding artist, come discover the creative ideas behind the covers you know and love, and pick up tips to inspire your own comic creations! This workshop is suitable for teenagers. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. [For parent-child programmes] Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
