About the Event In this friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll be paired with a youth buddy who will guide you one-on-one as you explore Google Gemini and learn simple, practical ways to use AI with confidence. Together, you’ll learn how to use AI in everyday activities such as creating a good morning message to share with family and friends, finding out what might be wrong with an ailing plant and how to care for it, and using AI to translate and read aloud a food label or letter. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have tried AI for yourself and learnt practical ways it can support you in your daily life. Suitable for English-speaking or Mandarin-speaking seniors who are curious about AI and would like to learn how to use it for everyday tasks. No prior AI experience is required. Participants are required to bring their own smartphones. This programme is suitable for seniors. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
