Imagine receiving a collection of Christmas postcards from around the world, each carrying a little story or a glimpse into how Christmas is celebrated across different cultures and generations. "Christmas Postcards: Carols from Far and Wide" is a musical journey across countries and through time—an exploration of history and culture. From beloved, time-honoured carols to festive melodies from distant lands, our singers and storytellers will be bringing you greetings from different parts of the world. Through these carols, discover how Christmas has been celebrated across generations and continents, and how, despite our differences in language, culture, and tradition, music continues to unite us in the timeless joy of Christmas. Above all, these songs remind us of the greatest GIft of the season, whose birth brought hope, peace, and joy to the world.
