Emotions & Scents: Discover Your Wellbeing is an interactive workshop that invites busy adults to pause, reflect and reconnect with themselves. Through emotional awareness, personality insights and an exploration of scent, participants discover practical ways to manage stress, deepen self-awareness and create simple wellbeing rituals they can continue beyond the workshop. About the Facilitators: Angela Ng Angela is a corporate trainer, educator, and facilitator specialising in workplace wellbeing and leadership development. She uniquely integrates Design Thinking with Positive Organisational Psychology to craft impactful interventions for organisations. An author and creator, she wrote What Colours Are You Feeling? and developed the Emotional Baggage Board Game, engaging over 1,000 participants since 2022. A TEDx Singapore speaker, she has been recognised with the Singapore 40-over-40: Inspiring Women Award (2023) and the Her Courage Award (2025). Elaine Fong Elaine Fong is a Learning and Leadership Development professional and a leadership coach passionate about emotion management. Elaine has worked across public and private sector organisations, designing and facilitating learning experiences that help people grow, lead and navigate change. Thrive@Libraries 2026 Thrive@Libraries aims to re-introduce adults to the rich diversity of NLB resources, programmes, and services while celebrating reading as a way to live well. It features a flagship showcase event at Funan B2 Atrium from 13-15 November 2026, complemented by in-library programmes running from November 2026 to January 2027. Permission to Pause This year's theme is an invitation to busy working adults to view libraries as a space to pause and discover their interests through NLB's resources. Discover ways you can pause ─ to read, to play, and to connect. ReadSG This festival is part of ReadSG. NLB's national movement to make reading a lifelong habit and a shared culture that nurtures curious minds, critical thinkers and informed citizens. The ReadSG Challenge is NLB's national reading initiative that invites Singaporeans to rediscover the joy of reading through a simple daily reading habit. All it takes is 15 minutes a day to build a reading habit. That's about the time between three MRT stops, waiting for your bus, or enjoying your morning coffee. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
