About the Event Think you need design skills to create a great-looking poster? Canva AI makes it easier than ever to turn your ideas into designs. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll discover how to use Canva’s AI tools to create a simple poster even if you have little or no design experience. Simply describe what you want and see how AI can help bring your idea to life. You’ll also learn how to generate custom AI images for your design, add them to your poster, and make simple adjustments to create something that’s uniquely yours. Once your design is ready, you’ll learn how to save and share your finished creation with your family and friends. You’ll also learn about the key considerations and limitations of AI image generation, and what to keep in mind when creating and using AI-generated images. Suitable for anyone curious about using AI to create designs quickly and easily. No prior design or technical experience required. Important Note Access to Canva may require participants to log in to their personal accounts. Participants are required to bring their own tablets or laptops. Access to power outlets may be limited. Participants may wish to install Wireless@SGx for Wi-Fi access at NLB libraries. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
