Afterimage invites participants to explore the enduring impressions that photographs leave behind through the tactile and collaborative process of zine-making. Led by Benjamin Tan, this hands-on workshop encourages participants to reflect on personal memories, everyday encounters, and shared experiences, transforming images and ideas into self-published zines. This programme is part of ArtsEverywhere @ NLB, an initiative to bring arts experiences to cvommunities where they live, work and play, in conjunction with SIPF 2026. About the Facilitator Community development is at the core of what Benjamin Tan (Visuals & Stories) does. Always keeping an eye out for creative ground–up initiatives to keep the heartbeat of the community going, Benjamin’s experience and unique blend of expertise is anchored in his continued journey of over 11 years being in social services and creative sector He is passionate about using Photography as a vehicle to build meaningful relationships with communities and for mental wellness, having partnered with institutions such as Singapore Association for Mental Health and AMKFSC Community Services to enable people to use photography as a means of expression. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
