About the Event A Central Arts Library Signature Series. Step into the beautiful world of ballet! This beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of classical ballet in a fun and approachable way. Learn basic ballet positions, movements, posture and musicality while discovering the grace, strength and discipline behind the art form. No prior ballet experience is required — just come with an open mind and enjoy moving to the music! Walk-ins allowed if there are available slots. NOTE: This workshop is for participants 17 years and above. Only for registered participants. Please come in dance shoes or thick socks, and comfortable clothing. Please bring your own water bottle. About Chze Siang As a dancer, performer and instructor, Chze Siang is always looking for new ways to express himself and improves both his art form and technique. He believes that no matter the age or physical attributes one can always improve and reach one’s goal the mind is set on with proper training and good guidance. Dancing or performing arts have taught him much about life. How things are related to one another And when you look back then you realize it is the journey through the good and bad times that matters, each without meaning without the other. He is grateful of what he has accomplish and welcome the new experience that is to come. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Slots may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
