About the Event What if AI could do more than just answer your questions and actually work for you? This hands-on workshop introduces you to the world of AI agents: AI-powered assistants that can take on tasks and help streamline everyday work. You’ll learn what AI agents are, how they differ from traditional chatbots, and why they are becoming increasingly relevant today. Best of all, no coding experience is required. Through guided, step-by-step activities, you’ll build two practical AI agents of your own: an Email Assistant to support everyday communication tasks and a Research Assistant to help gather and organise information. By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with two working AI agents, a practical understanding of how agents work, and the confidence to start creating your own AI-powered assistants for work, study and everyday tasks. Suitable for anyone aged 13 and above who is curious about AI and keen to explore how AI agents can make everyday tasks easier. No coding or technical experience is required. Important Note Access to some free GenAI tools may require participants to log in to their personal accounts. Participants are required to bring their own laptops. Access to power outlets may be limited. Participants may wish to install Wireless@SGx for Wi-Fi access at NLB libraries. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
