No prior preparation is needed. Just come as you are. All are welcome! Why We Gather As part of our quarterly WEC Ladies Night, we are running this book club to bring people together through a shared love of reading. We hope to nurture a love for reading in our community and encourage readers to pick up a book and discover something new. How the Evening Works Everyone brings a current read and shares a little about it. We will use these simple prompts to guide the conversation: 1. What drew you to this book? 2. What is one thing that stayed with you? 3. Who else might love it? Come prepared to read an excerpt aloud and share its story with everyone! Our House Rules ⦁ Be respectful. Welcome different opinions, reading tastes and experiences. ⦁ Be kind. We are all here to learn and grow together. ⦁ Bring a book that can be shared openly. Please choose a title that is permitted for circulation in Singapore. ⦁ Listen as much as you share. Good conversation goes both ways. ⦁ Respect privacy. What is shared here, stays here.
