Read For Good 2026 & World Animal Day Tamil Language Competitions Date: 4 October 2026, Sunday Time: 10:00am Venue: Programme Room 2, Level B1, Central Library, National Library Building, 100 Victoria Street K1 & K2: Colouring Competition (வண்ணம் தீட்டும் போட்டி) • Participants must bring their own colouring materials: Crayons and colour pencils only. • Watercolours and sketch pens are not allowed. • Please bring a clipboard to support the colouring sheet. • An A4-sized picture outline will be provided on the competition day. • Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes. P1, P2 & P3: One-Minute Tamil Speech (ஒரு நிமிடப் பேச்சுப்போட்டி) Choose any one of the following topics: • பிரபலமான விலங்கு நல ஆர்வலர்கள் • காலநிலை மாற்றம் வனவிலங்குகளை எவ்வாறு பாதிக்கிறது? அவற்றை எவ்வாறு பாதுகாக்கலாம்? • வாங்காதீர்கள்… தத்தெடுங்கள்! செல்லப்பிராணிகளைத் தத்தெடுக்க வேண்டிய காரணங்கள் என்ன? • Maximum Duration: 1 minute • Speak in either Spoken Tamil (பேச்சுத் தமிழ்) or Formal Tamil (உரை நடைத் தமிழ்)—choose the style you are most comfortable with. Registration is compulsory. Register at https://www.indian.sg (https://www.indian.sg/) Registration will close when the event capacity is reached. Attendance Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
