About the Event Transform your love for reading into beautiful digital book reviews! In this interactive Zoom session, learn how to use Canva's intuitive design tools and ready-made templates to create eye-catching book review posts inspired by your favourite reads. Explore how to personalise your designs with layouts, fonts, colours, and images that capture the mood and style of each story. Bring along your favourite book and create a polished digital book review to share with your friends and family on social media or keep as a memorable digital keepsake of your reading journey. Please use your smartphone for the editing. Before the session, please install the Canva app on your smartphone and ensure that you have a stable internet connection. This programme is suitable for seniors. Whether you’re looking to explore a topic you've always been curious about or simply meet others who share your love of learning, we have something for everyone. ReadSG This programme is part of ReadSG. NLB's national movement to make reading a lifelong habit and a shared culture that nurtures curious minds, critical thinkers and informed citizens. The ReadSG Challenge is NLB's national reading initiative that invites Singaporeans to rediscover the joy of reading through a simple daily reading habit. All it takes is 15 minutes a day to build a reading habit. That's about the time between three MRT stops, waiting for your bus, or enjoying your morning coffee. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
