About the Event As care technology grows around the world, new products and services are helping seniors in Singapore. A new initiative in Singapore, called Care Tech Café, seeks to collaborate with stakeholders and experts to bring best practices and new technology to the community. The aim is to help seniors overcome barriers with using them. In this session, we will share how initiatives like Care Tech Café empower seniors and caregivers with practical skills, encourage intergenerational bonding, and provide a platform to co-create with AI robots, smart wearables, and technology relevant to the local context. About the Speaker Dr Kelvin Tan is the Associate Professor and Head of Programme at Singapore University of Social Sciences. His research areas involve AI social robots, smart wearables, intergenerational relationships, and co-living spaces. He has worked extensively with partners like the Ministry of Education (Singapore), Temasek Foundation, and other industry players to seed projects in these areas. This programme is suitable for seniors.
