Discover how familiar folk songs and everyday musical moments can become playful ways to strengthen your child’s Executive Functions (EFs). In this interactive parent-child workshop, families will sing, move and play while exploring three key EFs: ‘Working Memory’, ‘Inhibitory Control’ and ‘Cognitive Flexibility’. Inspired by our SparkleWAY Music programme, parents will learn how music can help children remember, pause, respond and adapt in learning and everyday life. Conducted fully in English, parents will also be inspired by creative ideas in turning daily routines into musical moments. No musical experience is needed - just a willingness to sing, play and explore together! This programme is suitable for parents with children from 2 – 6 years old Registration and Attendance Registration is not required for this programme. Please walk in. Admission is subject to availability and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission. It is compulsory for parents or caregivers to accompany their children during the programme. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts.
