About the Event Planning a trip often means juggling multiple tabs, reviews, maps, recommendations and itineraries. In this hands-on workshop, discover how Gemini and Mindtrip can help make the process more personalised and organised. Use Gemini to explore destinations and generate travel ideas based on your budget, dates, interests and preferred travel style. Then use Mindtrip to bring those ideas together into a visual itinerary with maps, places, recommendations and daily plans that can be customised and shared. Through practical hands-on activities, participants will learn how to use AI tools to support different stages of travel planning, while understanding their limitations and considerations for responsible use. Participants will learn how to: • Use Gemini to explore destinations and develop personalised travel ideas • Create clearer prompts based on budget, interests, travel style and other preferences • Use Mindtrip to organise travel ideas into a visual, interactive itinerary • Adapt and share travel plans for solo, couple, family or group travel • Understand key considerations when using AI-generated travel information and recommendations Suitable for adults, parents and lifelong learners who are new to AI or have started experimenting with AI tools. The session uses practical examples relevant to everyday life and requires no coding knowledge or technical experience. Instructions for Participants: * Please bring a laptop or personal learning device (PLD) with internet access via Wi-Fi or mobile data. * A mobile phone may be used, but is not recommended as the smaller screen may make the hands-on activities harder to follow. * Please ensure you can access Gemini and Mindtrip before the session. * Participants may wish to install Wireless@SGx for Wi-Fi access at NLB libraries. Facilitators: Sandra Low is Co-Founder of Kids PlaySafer and an AI Singapore–certified AI Ready ASEAN Master Trainer. She leads the design and deployment of AI literacy and digital safety initiatives that translate global AI education frameworks into practical, real-world learning experiences for youths, parents, and working adults. Her work focuses on responsible AI use, digital judgmentskills, and building future-ready capabilities across youth and adult learning communities. Low Wee San is a Senior Lecturer for the Diploma in Data Science / Applied AI & Analytics at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. His background encompasses enterprise IT, AI & Analytics, business intelligence, SAP, and programme management, along with a dedication to training data professionals for the workforce. His professional experience includes leadership roles in education and at organizations like IBM, Lenovo, Singtel, Pentair, and HGST/Western Digital. A Certified Scrum master and ACTA-certified educator, he has been recognisedfor teaching excellence and contributions to the SAP academic community. Chung Wei Tat is the AI Ready ASEAN Lead at AI Singapore, where he handles strategic planning support, programme operations, stakeholder coordination, and daily execution, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of key initiatives. In his capacity within the AI Talent Development pillar, he also manages AI for Good (Educator), backed by Meta, which trains ASEAN educators in responsible AI and has seen over 3,500 learners benefit within a year of its conclusion. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
