About the Event AI is increasingly shaping how we work, learn and navigate everyday life. This hands-on workshop explores how to engage with AI effectively, assess its responses and recognise where human judgement matters. Gain the confidence to make informed choices about when and how to use AI. No coding knowledge or technical experience is required. Participants will learn how to: Ask AI more useful questions for everyday tasks Refine prompts to get clearer and more practical answers Use AI for planning, writing, learning, organising and comparing option By the end of the session, participants will be better able to use AI with confidence, purpose and common sense in daily life. Designed and delivered by Kids PlaySafer (http://www.kidsplaysafer.sg/) and aligned with the AI Ready ASEAN curriculum developed by AI Singapore in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation and supported by Google.org, this workshop supports informed and ethical AI use in learning contexts. Suitable for youths, parents, and lifelong learners. Important Instructions for Participants Please bring a laptop or personal learning device (PLD) with internet access via Wi-Fi or mobile data. A mobile phone may be used, but it is not recommended as the smaller screen may make hands-on activities harder to follow. Please download ChatGPT and Gemini prior to the session. Participants may wish to install Wireless@SGx for Wi-Fi access at NLB libraries. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
