About the Event Join us for an engaging fireside chat with Dr. Vani Swarupa Murali and Mr. Malminderjit Singh, presented in conjunction with the exhibition Singapore's Agricultural Heritage: Past to Present, running from October 5 to 30, 2026 at Central Library, NLB, Victoria Street. Together, they will dive into the foundational works that sparked the project, explore why reflecting on Singapore's agricultural heritage is vital today, and share exclusive insights into key pieces featured in the exhibition. This programme is suitable for adults. About the speakers Vani Swarupa Murali is an instructor at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She holds a PhD in South Asian Studies from NUS and researches on agricultural policy and governance. Her publications have appeared in the Journal of Public Policy, Channel NewsAsia and The Interpreter. Malminderjit Singh is Founder and Managing Director of Terra Corporate Affairs. He is also an adviser to various international public affairs firms and a Senior Consultant to the Rajaratnam School of International Studies. He is active in public service and serves as Chairman of the Sikh Advisory Board, as a Justice of Peace, as a Member of the Founders' Memorial Committee and as a Board Member of the Indian Heritage Centre Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme.
