About the Event Feel overwhelmed by climate change and unsure where to begin? Climate Fresk is a fun, hands-on workshop that turns the science into something anyone can understand, no background required. In small groups, you put together a set of fact-based cards to uncover how climate change works: its causes, effects, and how it all connects. We will also briefly explore adaptation and mitigation actions, and spend time collaboratively creating practical action plans you can implement. Along the way, we'll discover books that support your journey. In three hours, go from concerned to capable! About the Organisation Climate Fresk is a global movement making climate science accessible to everyone through a simple, collaborative workshop. The NGO, founded in France in 2018, is now present in over 150 countries through volunteers, with active chapters in more than 80 countries and 103,000+ trained facilitators worldwide. In Singapore, our volunteer community has sensitised more than 12,000 people across schools, universities, companies and community spaces - helping citizens understand climate change through science, and turning that understanding into action. This programme is suitable for adults. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
