About the Event Join us for an afternoon of print, paper, and bookmaking with Allegro Print/OFFCUT and The Other Workroom. The session begins with a sharing by Allegro Print on sustainable printing practices and their OFFCUT initiative–giving surplus paper a second life. Participants will then take part in a beginner-friendly bookmaking workshop by The Other Workroom, where they will learn techniques such as the 3 hole pamphlet stitch, Dos-à-Dos binding, and 32-page booklet construction—creating their own handcrafted books using OFFCUT papers. No prior experience needed. All materials will be provided. This programme is suitable for adults. About the Speakers Allegro Print Pte Ltd Founded in 2002, Allegro Print is a Singapore-based creative print and production house with over 25 years of expertise. Ho Yeow Liang Founder, OFFCUT | Executive Director, Allegro Print Pte Ltd Yeow Liang is the founder of OFFCUT, a design-led stationery brand that gives paper a second life — turning production offcuts from Allegro Print's presses into beautifully crafted, limited-run stationery. With over 25 years running Allegro Print, one of Singapore's established fine-art and commercial printers, Yeow Liang brings a rare combination of craft knowledge, sustainability conviction, and design sensibility to the circular economy conversation. He serves as President of the Print Media Association Singapore and is active in various business and creative industry communities. The Other Workroom Azelia Ng is a (graphic) designer, maker, and artist who explores the relationship between design, print, and material culture through books and printed matter. Through her studio for artist's books and experimental publishing, The Other Workroom, she investigates how materials, making, and production shape how ideas take physical form. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person.
