In partnership with the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), this session will walk you through the key steps to take at every stage of your journey — from: • Before departure - Checking entry requirements and getting relevant vaccinations • While abroad - Practising good hygiene, avoiding risky food and insect bite precautions • Return home – What to do and when to seek medical attention, including how to inform your doctor of your travel history Whether you are a frequent traveller or planning your first overseas trip, this webinar equips you with the knowledge to travel confidently and responsibly. About the Speaker Robin Lee is the Deputy Director of the Public Education team at the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), where he leads national-level awareness campaigns to protect Singapore residents against communicable diseases. Previously at the Health Promotion Board, he spearheaded campaigns on vaccination, HIV testing, and antibiotic use. A registered pharmacist with advanced clinical pharmacy training, Robin will be sharing on practical travel health tips to help you travel smart and stay healthy. This programme is suitable for seniors. ReadSG This programme is part of ReadSG. NLB's national movement to make reading a lifelong habit and a shared culture that nurtures curious minds, critical thinkers and informed citizens. The ReadSG Challenge is NLB's national reading initiative that invites Singaporeans to rediscover the joy of reading through a simple daily reading habit. All it takes is 15 minutes a day to build a reading habit. That's about the time between three MRT stops, waiting for your bus, or enjoying your morning coffee. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
