About the Programme Beyond Labels: Our Families, Our Stories brings together persons with disabilities, families, caregivers, educators and community members to share lived experiences and perspectives on disability and inclusion. Through personal stories, conversations and community showcases, the programme invites visitors to look beyond labels and encounter the people, families and experiences behind them. Visitors can hear from speakers with diverse lived experiences, meet exhibitors with different experiences and perspectives, and discover what inclusion can look like in everyday life. The programme aims to encourage greater understanding of disability and inclusion, while creating space for genuine conversations between people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to meet and learn from one another. The event is open to the public. Admission is free. About the Organisation The Singapore Network for Inclusive Living (SNIL) is an alumni-led network of graduates and students from the University of Newcastle’s Master of Special and Inclusive Education programme in Singapore. SNIL brings together people from diverse professional and personal backgrounds with a shared interest in advancing inclusion in everyday life. Through community programmes, professional learning, conversations and collaborations, SNIL seeks to connect knowledge with lived experience and create opportunities for people to learn with and from one another.
