About the Event This parent-child engagement session is designed to strengthen family relationships through a better understanding of the Five Love Languages. Parents will learn: How to express love in ways that truly resonate with their children Practical tools to strengthen parent-child bonds Strategies to nurture a more connected and loving relationship About the Trainers: Mr Edward Kang is a Family Life Education (FLE) Trainer with Family Support Services (FSS), Care Corner Singapore Ltd, and an accredited trainer of multiple evidence‑based parenting programmes. He holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. He is also trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which informs his work with parents and caregivers on strengthening couple and family relationships. Mr Lim Swee Hock is a FLE (Family Life Education) trainer with Family Support Services (FSS) - Care Corner Singapore Ltd and is an accredited trainer for various evidence-based parenting programmes. He holds a Social Work Degree in Social Work from UniSim presently call the Singapore University of Social Science. He has a certificate in Emotional Focus Therapy. This programme is part of the pre-Fiesta publicity for Early READ Fiesta 2026/2027, and is suitable for children aged 3 to 6. Each child should have an accompanying parent to attend. --- Early READ Fiesta 2026/2027 presents: Where Reading Meets Discovery! Catch a range of unique storytelling programmes, interactive stations and booths, and many other exciting activities. Journey through the various stations and redeem a special token at the redemption booth when you complete all the steps. Please register one ticket per person. Each ticket admits one participant only and does not cover a parent–child pair. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission. It is compulsory for parents or caregivers to accompany their children during the programme. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts.
