About the Event Ever wondered what happens behind the clinic doors, or what it takes to care for growing children? Step into the shoes of a paediatrician! Join us for an interactive reading of The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor, where we follow Brother and Sister Bear on their routine check-up with Dr. Grizzly. Together, we’ll discover how paediatricians use special tools—from stethoscopes to ear lights—to keep kids healthy, strong, and feeling their best. Following the story, young explorers can participate in hands-on activities to test out real medical tools and see what it’s like to investigate and solve health mysteries like a real doctor! This programme is a screen-lite activity in support of Grow Well SG, happening at Punggol Library. Speaker Profile Dr Terri Chiong is a consultant at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, specializing in general Paediatrics and Paediatric Dermatology. Day-to-day, she cares for children with a wide spectrum of health and skin conditions. Having led numerous community outreach sessions on eczema, she is passionate about educating parents on child health and empowering families with the knowledge to recognize and manage common pediatric conditions with confidence. Registration and Attendance Registration is not required for this programme. Please walk in. Admission is subject to availability and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Parents attending with children: please add your child’s profile in the NLB Mobile app before arriving, so you can include their attendance in the submission. It is compulsory for parents or caregivers to accompany their children during the programme. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts.
