About the Event The Encore Years Community Circle aims to bring individuals together in a safe and supportive environment to share experiences, ideas and to encourage personal growth through mutual learning and support as they plan and prepare for their encore years. There will be facilitated sessions held in each quarter and will cover the different key aspects of life: occupation (July 2026), relationships (October 2026), health (February 2027), legacy (May 2027). About the Speaker Dr. Avril Gan is a Life Architect, Change Strategist and published author with nearly four decades of global experience in transformation and organisational change management. A passionate advocate for successful life transitions, Dr. Gan now focuses on empowering individuals to navigate, manage and cope with change on the individual level. Through talks, hands-on workshops and her proprietary Life Transition Framework, she provides practical tools and thought-provoking insights that has helped individuals face change with courage while planning and preparing for a purpose-filled next chapter of their lives. This programme is suitable for seniors. Time of Your Life (TOYL) Celebration 2026 Join us from Oct 2026 – Mar 2027 to immerse yourself in nostalgic exhibitions, learn something new from our programmes, and take part in activities that rekindle the joy of a good read. Whether you’re looking to explore a topic you've always been curious about or simply meet others who share your love of learning, we have something for everyone. ReadSG This programme is part of ReadSG. NLB's national movement to make reading a lifelong habit and a shared culture that nurtures curious minds, critical thinkers and informed citizens. The ReadSG Challenge is NLB's national reading initiative that invites Singaporeans to rediscover the joy of reading through a simple daily reading habit. All it takes is 15 minutes a day to build a reading habit. That's about the time between three MRT stops, waiting for your bus, or enjoying your morning coffee. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
