About the event Join us at the Access Bazaar booths, happening every first Sunday of the month from 10am to 2pm at Level 1, Punggol Library. This bazaar showcases a diverse range of handmade and creative items crafted by Persons with Disabilities who will also be present at the booths. By participating, you’ll be supporting their talents, livelihoods, and the meaningful work behind each product. This bazaar on 4 October is made possible through the collaboration of partners from Art for Good, Project YoungStar, Caroline Pereira and AusomeSuds. About Art for Good: A social enterprise that supports Persons with Disabilities through art therapy and community art programme. The artworks and handcrafted items on sale celebrates each child’s creativity, abilities and individual expression while supporting their continued creative journey with Art for Good. About Project YoungStar: A ground-up initiative that aims to develop teens and adults on the autism spectrum through home-based work. They are skilled at making handcrafted card, eco-enzyme household cleaners using orange peels, coasters and keychains. About Caroline Pereira: Caroline is a member of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Federation Singapore and despite being diagnosed deaf at the age of 4, disability does not defeat her determination in life. She is adept at sewing and makes keychains, hair accessories and pouches. About AusomeSuds: Punitha Tjia is the founder of AusomeSuds, a homegrown handmade wellness business offering shower steamers and foot salt bath products. Her son, Michael who has autism, is meaningfully involved in preparing the products by following step-by-step visual instructions. Through AusomeSuds, Punitha hopes to promote self-care while supporting Michael in developing practical skills, confidence and greater independence. ~~~~~ Explore, shop, and support — every purchase makes a difference!
