In this session, you’ll discover a selection of fiction novels where the stories themselves are intricate puzzles waiting to be solved. From secret ciphers hidden between the lines to enigmatic plots filled with riddles and clues, we’ll explore books that invite you to step into the role of detective. Session Flow 10 minutes – A librarian introduces a genre or theme, sharing highlights and recommendations. 15 minutes – Dedicated reading time, contributed to Read for Good. This reading session is recommended for adults, but all are welcome. About Read for Good Read for Good (R4G) is NLB’s signature reading charity drive which aims to encourage reading and share the joy of reading with the less privileged. Previously known as Read for Books, this year we celebrate 10 years of reading for a good cause! This National Reading Month, help us achieve 7.5million reading minutes to bring reading to a community of up to 10,000 individuals. Let’s Read and Do Good! Please register one ticket per person. Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app (https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
