Discover the future of urban agriculture - where hydroponics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and smart technologies come together to transform the way we grow food. This session introduces the fundamentals of hydroponic farming, a sustainable method of growing crops without soil using nutrient-rich water solutions. Participants will explore how AI and smart technologies can automate key urban farming operations, from monitoring environmental conditions and nutrient levels to controlling lighting, irrigation, and other growing parameters. Whether you're a curious beginner, a home gardener, or someone passionate about food security, technology, and environmental sustainability, this session will demonstrate how innovation is making urban farming more efficient, accessible, and intelligent. Join us to discover how hydroponics and smart technologies are reshaping the future of food production - cleaner, more automated, and smarter. Facilitated by Mr Joshua Tan, a co-founder of Singapore Indoor Farms, who specialises in designing hydroponic systems for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Joshua brings hands-on experience in urban farming, having conducted workshops for community groups and gardens This programme is suitable for adults. Registration and Attendance Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person.
