❤️ Who we are The Backyard Film Club (TBFC) is a community-based film club for people who believe film is better when shared. All levels of interest are welcome! 🎬 What Film Circle is Our monthly meetup where we share and discuss films, in small and intimate groups. This month, we're exploring Horror. Bring a horror film you'd love to talk about, whether it's a cult classic, a modern take, or one that had you sleeping with the lights on. It could be slasher, supernatural, psychological, a creature feature, or anything in between. Feel free to bring more than one if you're spoilt for choice! 💭 How to prepare - Which film are you introducing? - What made you pick this film for the theme? - What's a moment or scene that stood out to you? - What did this film leave you thinking about? - What are you curious to hear from your circle about this film? (5-15 minutes per person, you are highly encouraged to prepare beforehand!) ✏️ What to bring - A laptop or iPad if you'd like to show a short clip of your film - A pen for some card writing - Maybe a friend along? 📍 Where & when Venue: Possibility Room (Level 5), National Library Building Date: Saturday, 10 October 2026 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Doors close at 5.45pm) 🔗 Stay connected Telegram: https://t.me/thebackyardfilmclub Instagram: instagram.com/thebackyardfilmclub/
